Wave 3 News reported that her Jennifer Lawrence Foundation held an early screening of her movie, Passengers, to benefit the American Heart Association’s fundraiser.

In her statement, she mentioned, ‘This partnership has enabled us to provide additional equipment for physical education as well as recess activities for the schools.’ The screening organized to raise funds for her foundation was a grand success, with three theaters selling out and the tickets priced at $100 each. As per the foundation’s website, the ultimate objective is to aid and empower ‘charitable organizations that fulfill children’s crucial requirements and encourage participation and awareness in arts.’
